When I
started my artistic journey, I had so many questions and no travelling partner.
I felt alone and withdrawn. I decided to go online and seek out others who
might be having similar experiences to my own. I was very fortunate because I
found many artists that were willing to show me where they were on their own journey and I saw techniques I’d never had thought of on my own. These experiences inspired me to
keep moving forward. I knew that I wasn't the only one and many of us out there share the same
frustrations and feelings, regardless of talent.
As an artist,
I know how important art can be to personal growth. Within my art I have the courage
to expose the person I cautiously hide from judgment. Art also teaches me to be
more patient, to be more open minded, to be more logical and to understand what
it is like to accomplish something.
I am confident
that these interviews will help another beginning and even novel artists push
forward and keep trying because they know that they are not alone and there are
so many of us out there that share the same frustrations and ideas.
So let me know if you would like to be the next featured artist! Thank you!
